Who we are

Hello! We’re Meghan & Zach — the duo behind the Local Nacogdoches MeZa Rooted Together Botanicals.

Zach has a degree in forestry from Stephen F. Austin State University, and Meghan… well, Meghan has a plant obsession and just enough free time to deep-dive into every species she brings home. Together, we care for (and obsess over) more than 200 plants of our own, along with all the beauties we grow and sell.

With a background in psychology, Meghan also loves the science behind why plants make people feel so good. Fun fact: studies show that even just being around greenery can lower stress, boost mood, and increase focus, which is probably why our home feels like a tiny, leafy therapy session.

At MeZa Rooted Together, everything we grow is rooted in love, curiosity, and the joy of helping people bring a little more life into their spaces. Let’s grow something beautiful together.
